In 2007, the Anne Frank Museum wanted to have another interior-design for their café. The space was too much of a school stay-over with little atmosphere. I decided to break the space in a few sections. To make the space more intimate I designed some ‘walls’ that had the advantage that the people had a clear path to their seats along the bar without disturbing other cutomers. Some lounge-seats were provided as well. Another lightplan like splashlight on the blind walls while the rest of the space is bordered from top to bottom by glass windows.
